PAUL GLEICHER • PRINCIPAL & OWNER

Mr. Gleicher founded Gleicher Design on the very basic guiding principle of providing outstanding and exceptional service to our clientele.

It is our goal to incorporate our extensive knowledge, expertise and design excellence in architecture and interior design into all aspects of the firm’s projects and to foster an environment of collaboration and cooperation amongst our clients, consultants, contractors and vendors. Calling upon Mr. Gleicher’s undergraduate, graduate, and professional studies and interests in the fields of architecture, art, history, science, mathematics, anthropology, archeology, music, the environment and his travels abroad, enables the firm to explore many creative and practical solutions to a wide variety of challenging projects.

Mr. Gleicher is proud to have gathered together a highly talented staff of professionals who follow the credo that it is our client’s interests that come first and foremost. Understanding, uncovering and interpreting and then implementing our client’s desires and needs are the primary goals of Gleicher Design.

Simply put, Mr. Gleicher strives for excellence in all aspects of the firm’s work and creates the positive environment that enables this excellence to occur.

DAVID BARRY • INTERIORS

As interior and architectural designer for Gleicher Design, David collaborates with clients, Gleicher Design’s Project Architects and the project's contractors in the detailed design and meticulous execution of our projects. From initial inspiration to incorporating practical concerns and costs our intent is to provide a home that exceeds our and our client’s expectations.

Working closely with Paul Gleicher for over 20 years, David finds the variety of Gleicher Design’s projects very engaging whether it’s a rustic abode, a simple clean space or a sophisticated city duplex.

Prior to creating the interior design service within Gleicher Design David worked with the renowned firm of Sills Huniford as interior design project manager, as well as with Marc Kenneth Interior Design as project manager. David earned a Bachelor of Fine Arts in industrial design from Michigan State University, East Lansing, MI.

Originally from Michigan, David loves the cultural life in New York City, cooking and reading about science as well as fiction.

NICOLE GUSTAFSON • ARCHITECTURE

As one of Gleicher Design’s Project Architects, Nicole leads the design, development and delivery of various projects. Nicole is engaged in each project from start to finish, partnering with clients early on to refine their project needs, goals and aspirations. In addition, through collaboration with co-workers and contractors she ensures a seamless execution of the project design and vision.

With over 20 years of experience in architecture, including 15 years with Gleicher Design, Nicole has designed and managed multiple projects of varying styles. Her expertise includes high-end residential, interior renovations, barn renovations, and designing custom millwork.

Prior to joining Gleicher Design, Nicole worked for Peggy Deamer and Scott Phillips as a designer/project manager for high end residential projects, as well as for H2L2 in their interior design department. Nicole is a Registered Architect in New York State and graduated with honors from the Architecture program at Washington University in St. Louis.

CRYSTAL PICKARD • ARCHITECTURE

As one of Gleicher Design’s Project Architects, Crystal leads the design, development, and delivery of projects, from beginning to end. She is passionate about learning our client’s goals and aspirations, then working closely with her colleagues, consultants, vendors, and the contractor to bring them to reality. 

Prior to joining Gleicher Design, Crystal worked for a diverse collection of firms specializing in both commercial and residential projects. Her prior experience spans from health care planning and design to commercial interior fit-outs to shore houses. Her wide ranging experience in all aspects of the design and construction process makes her knowledgeable, flexible, open-minded, and motivated to cultivate projects from idea to reality.

Crystal studied architecture at The Ohio State University (BS Arch) and Temple University (M Arch) in Philadelphia, where she received the Master of Architecture Award for Leadership and was a Dean’s Grant recipient. She is a Registered Architect in New Jersey and New York, is a LEED Accredited Professional, and sits on the Planning Board in Mount Kisco, Westchester, New York. 

In her free time Crystal goes hiking with her young family, drinks red wine, and glamps.
